Advanced Ikebana Lesson

Service Description

In this advanced lesson, students will move beyond the basic rules of Ikebana and explore personal expression through the three essential elements of Line, Colour and Mass. Students will learn to study the characteristics of each material and use them to create movement, contrast, depth and visual impact. Greater attention will be given to the relationship between the arrangement and the surrounding space, allowing negative space to become an important part of the composition. By experimenting with different plant materials, colours and forms, students will develop a more individual and contemporary approach to Ikebana, creating arrangements that express their own artistic ideas and connection with nature.
